Ukrainian Forces repelled Russian assaults near Lastochkyne on Avdiivka front - DeepState
Russian occupiers, following the capture of Avdiivka, attempted mass assaults near Lastochkyne, but Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks, according to data from the interactive map DeepStateMap.
Situation on the Avdiivka front
Intervening forces attempted to storm near Lastochkyne, located northwest of Avdiivka, where Ukrainian troops had already withdrawn. The adversary carried out attacks in the Lastochkyne area with a significant infantry presence, but all these attempts proved unsuccessful for the enemy.
It is noted that the occupiers are currently accumulating forces in positions and are likely to resume assault operations in the coming days.
It is also reported that Russian forces are attacking Pervomaiske and have approached closely to Nevelske. Fierce battles are taking place near the settlements of Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka, where the "enemy has increased pressure."
Analysts of the resource note that after the conclusion of the battles for Avdiivka, Russian occupiers are likely to make decisions regarding the redeployment of main forces to other sectors of the front.
"The enemy may attempt to extend into operational space west of the city or concentrate on Kupiansk, Chasiv Yar, or Robotyne," the source states.
Situation on the Bakhmut front
On this front section, Russian invaders carried out assault operations in Bilohorivka (the Luhansk region) but faced a counteraction from the Defense Forces.
Russian forces are attempting to identify "vulnerable points" in Bohdanivka to advance the frontline. The source notes success for the interveners near Ivanivka, where they continue assault operations.
It is also mentioned that the enemy has advanced near Ivanivske, west of Bakhmut.
Situation on the Svatove front segment
On this front segment, Russian occupiers are conducting rotations. Additionally, the enemy continues to increase pressure in the areas of Terny and Yampolivka.
Situation on the Zaporizhia front segment
Russian forces have initiated a mass attack from Robotyne to Verbove. South-west of the latter, the enemy has reportedly breached the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defenses, and Ukrainian defenders are currently attempting to "eliminate this problem," according to the material.
It is also noted that on Sunday, the intensity somewhat subsided. The source indicates that some Russian occupiers managed to break through in Robotyne, but the majority of them have already been eliminated by Ukrainian forces.
Situation on other front segments
On the Berdiansk front segment, Russian occupiers have intensified their activities, particularly near Novodonetske, where active combat operations are ongoing. No changes have been reported on the Tavria and Siversk front segments, as well as near other parts of the northern border.
