The information published by DeepState about Russian forces capturing territory in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions does not correspond to reality, according to a statement from Ukraine’s Southern Defense Forces.

"The situation in the Oleksandrivka, Huliaipole, and Orikhiv directions is indeed quite tense: just in the past 24 hours, nearly fifty clashes with the enemy were recorded. But the settlements mentioned in the report are not under Russian control," the statement reads.

The defenders reported that one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ brigades is currently holding the line near the settlement of Pavlivka, where fierce fighting continues. Clashes with the enemy are also taking place near the settlement of Plavni, where a grey zone remains.

The enemy is attempting to push into the flank of Ukrainian forces near the settlement of Prymorske through the former Kakhovka Reservoir, but the Defense Forces are eliminating them.

"In the area of the settlement of Uspenivka, the enemy destroyed several positions with fire strikes, so our defenders had to withdraw deeper into the defensive lines, but the fighting for the settlement has not stopped," the Southern Defense Forces noted.

In addition, the Russian forces took advantage of dense fog in the Zaporizhzhia region to try to bypass Ukrainian defensive positions, but they were eliminated.

"In these sectors of the frontline, we are constantly conducting search-and-strike operations and destroying enemy sabotage groups. Over the past 24 hours in the South, the enemy has lost more than two hundred personnel," Ukrainian defenders reported.

Russian losses

Over the past 24 hours, Russia has lost more than one thousand of its servicemen. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed six armored combat vehicles, 15 artillery systems, 172 operational–tactical UAVs, 84 vehicles, and one piece of special equipment.
