Ukrainian Defense Forces implemented a large-scale operation, striking oil infrastructure in Russia's Krasnodar region and occupied Crimea, as well as a number of Russian ammunition depots, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and sources within the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
Strikes on oil infrastructure
Sources say drones from the SBU Alpha special operations center, together with the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), attacked the Krymsk linear production and dispatch station in the Krasnodar region.
This facility is part of the Transneft main oil pipeline system and supplies fuel to the tactical aviation base in Krymsk and the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Novorossiysk.
"SBU is consistently reducing the enemy's capabilities in the military, economic, and logistical spheres. Such operations will continue as long as Russia wages war against Ukraine," a well-informed SBU source said.
According to local authorities, a fire broke out at the station after the attack. The General Staff also confirmed a strike on the Hvardiiska oil depot in occupied Crimea.
Destruction of depots, command posts
Besides oil facilities, Ukrainian forces also struck logistical hubs in occupied territories:
- Ammunition depots: hits were recorded in the areas of Makiivka and Donetsk, as well as Osypenko in the Zaporizhzhia region.
- Drone command posts: strikes were carried out in the areas of Konovalova (Zaporizhzhia region) and Hola Prystan (Kherson region).
- Manpower: concentrations of Russian personnel were hit near Stepove, Stepnohirsk, Pryazovske, and Rybne.
The General Staff emphasized that these measures are aimed at reducing Russia's offensive potential.
"Each such strike weakens the aggressor's resource base and complicates the supply of its troops," a source in the security services stressed.
Russian oil assets under attack
Ukrainian Defense Forces are systematically destroying Russia's logistics and energy infrastructure. Recently, the General Staff confirmed a successful strike on the Krymsk oil pumping station, which is critical to supplying the Russian army.
In addition, Ukrainian drones have demonstrated the ability to strike at distances of over 1,000 kilometers. Recently, two Russian drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea were hit, which were used to extract resources and support Russia's military capabilities.
Despite calls from some Western partners to refrain from attacks on Russian energy facilities, Ukraine continues to implement its plan. According to Presidential Office head Kyrylo Budanov, the Defense Forces will not stop strikes on Russian oil depots, as this directly weakens its ability to wage war.
