Ukrainian forces eliminate unique North Korean weapon - Video captures epic moment

Military personnel of the Raid battalion destroyed a rare North Korean MLRS in the Novopavlivka direction, according to the Unmanned Systems Forces.
"On the Novopavlivka direction, operators of the 413th Raid battalion of the Unmanned Systems Forces detected and destroyed a North Korean-made M1991 multiple launch rocket system," the video caption reads.
It is known that the pilot hit one of the rockets on the launcher pack with a strike drone. The munition detonated, pierced the crew cabin, and then triggered the entire ammunition load.
The M1991 is a North Korean analogue of the Soviet 220mm MLRS Uragan, but with an increased caliber of 240mm and a range of up to 60 km. The presence of these systems in the enemy’s arsenal was first confirmed on video in April 2025.
How Russia is using North Korea in the war
Earlier reports stated that North Korea sent about 10,000 military personnel to Russia to support the war against Ukraine. The Russian forces deployed North Korean soldiers during combat operations in the Kursk region. At that time, some of these troops were killed or wounded.
Later, both North Korea and Russia confirmed the deployment of North Korean forces and their participation in the Russian offensive aimed at regaining control over parts of the Kursk region.
Additionally, as part of their cooperation, North Korea has supplied Russia with weapons and missiles used to strike Ukrainian cities, as well as technologies for their modernization.
