Ukraine's Special Operations Forces (SSO) struck the Russian BM-27 Uragan multiple launch rocket system and its crew positions in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region using a strike drone, according to the SSO.

"On the night of 16 December, Special Operations units struck enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region using FP-2 strike UAVs," the SSO statement said.

Special Operation Forces in Blahodatne targeted the storage site of the BM-27 Uragan and the locations of its crews. Additionally, near Pokrovsk, SSO struck a site where enemy personnel were concentrated.

"Special Operations Forces continue taking asymmetric actions to undermine the offensive capabilities of the Russian army," the SSO said.

Ukrainian Armed Forces strike enemy equipment and logistics

Previously, strike drones of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence (HUR) destroyed several Russian radar systems and a naval helicopter in temporarily occupied Crimea.

On the night of 1-2 November, HUR targeted a command post of an S-400 Triumf air defense division on its combat position, as well as a Russian 92N6E multifunctional radar in Crimea.

Additionally, during the night of 1 November, powerful explosions were reported in the Moscow region, where HUR successfully destroyed three sections of the strategic Koltsevoy oil product pipeline.

Ukrainian Special Operations units have also struck several Russian military targets in temporarily occupied areas of the Donetsk region and in Crimea.
