Ukrainian forces crush Russian assault using infantry and bicycles near Pokrovsk

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces are deploying infantry and even using bicycles for assault operations, according to Ukraine's 3rd Operational Brigade of the National Guard, Spartan.
The situation in the Pokrovsk direction remains tense.
The enemy is attempting to storm Ukrainian positions in the area of responsibility of the Spartan Brigade, using unconventional tactics, including sending assault troops on bicycles.
According to Ukrainian soldiers, Russia is deploying so-called disposable infantry.
Russian forces move in dense groups — both on foot and using two-wheeled transport — trying to approach Ukrainian positions by surprise.
However, drone operators from the Spartan UAV unit quickly detect such targets and precisely eliminate the enemy before they get close.
"Our principle is clear: every Russian gets a friendly drone from Spartan," the defenders say.
Situation on the frontline
Over the past 24 hours, 158 combat engagements were recorded along the front. Russian forces used aviation, artillery, and kamikaze drones.
In response, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck eight areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, as well as one artillery piece and a radar station.
Additionally, Russian forces suffered 1,000 personnel losses in the past day.
