The Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted large-scale tests of the latest developments for smart mining and demining. Drones, mines, and modern detection systems were tested at the training ground, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the Brave1 defense cluster, conducted large-scale tests of smart mining and demining technologies as part of the Iron Range project.

Dozens of Ukrainian manufacturers took part in the tests. They presented the latest developments: drones, mines, metal detectors, and digital systems for detecting mines and explosive devices.

Innovative technologies were demonstrated in the presence of combat units that are already using similar solutions at the front.

This is the first test of this scale to apply modern engineering solutions focused on efficiency on the battlefield.

The goal is to find the most effective technologies to improve Ukraine's security and defense capabilities.

Iron Range project

In 2024, Ukraine launched the Iron Range project, which enables arms and military equipment manufacturers to test samples quickly and affordably. The state provides this service free of charge.
