Ukrainian FM names three key elements for ending war in Ukraine

Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha outlined three key steps to end the war in Ukraine, emphasizing the role of the US and sanctions against Russia.
He stated that Ukraine’s security is inseparably linked to transatlantic security.
It has now been four months since Ukraine unequivocally accepted the proposal for a complete ceasefire.
The key task now is to find a diplomatic solution to establish lasting peace.
According to him, the recipe to end the war consists of three main elements: active US leadership, increased pressure on Russia through sanctions and isolation, and strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
"Now is the time to seek a diplomatic resolution to achieve lasting peace. The Ukrainian people deserve peace," he said.
Graham sanctions
Amid his criticism of Russia, Trump announced a "major statement" regarding Russia to be delivered on July 14. It is assumed that the statement may concern new sanctions against Russia — known as the "Graham bill."
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal introduced a sanctions bill against Russia in late April. The bill proposes imposing 500% tariffs on countries purchasing Russian oil.
