Ukrainian elite brigade liberates Krasnohorivka near Donetsk

Ukrainian military managed to drive occupiers out of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. Earlier, the Russians had partially entered the city, according to the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
Military noted that the day before, the forces of the Russian army attacked the southeastern part of Krasnohorivka and entered the city.

To prevent the enemy from consolidating, units of the Third Separate Assault Brigade, along with assault battalions, conducted a combat operation to clear the city of enemy forces.
Occupier losses
"In a short period of time, the enemy managed to prepare for a prolonged defense, and despite resistance and heavy fighting, the brigade's assault groups inflicted irreparable losses on the enemy - about 100 occupiers were killed and the same number wounded," the brigade reported.
Military also reported that the Russians refused to surrender and were eliminated in the buildings they occupied.
"As of now, Krasnohorivka is under the control of Ukrainian forces," summed up the Third Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
