Ukrainian drones take out an S-400, radars and three Russian vessels overnight

Ukrainian drones targeted several Russian air defense systems, including an S-400, as well as three Russian shadow fleet vessels in the Black Sea on the night of August 9, according to Robert Brovdi (call sign Madyar), commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces.
According to him, the first target was an S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system position in Gelendzhik, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The day before, on August 8, the system launched six missiles between 9:25 a.m. and 12:51 p.m.
"The S-400 position in Gelendzhik, on the shore, right next to the catacombs, burned and smoked for three hours," Magyar said.
Also on the night of August 9, four other Russian air defense assets were targeted. They included:

a Tor air defense system in the village of Pudovoy, Rostov region;

a Pantsir-S1 air defense gun-missile system in Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai;

a Podlet-K1 radar in Golovatovka, Rostov region;

a Kasta 2E2 radar in Latonovo, Rostov region.
The SFS commander also reported that three Russian shadow fleet vessels were targeted in the Black Sea. They included one oil tanker and two bulk carriers.
Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to strike Russian military facilities and logistics deep inside Russia.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia had moved air defense systems to Moscow from various regions in response to such attacks, creating three rings of protection around the capital.
