The night of June 23 was a restless one for Russian troops in Crimea. Ukrainian drones struck dozens of military targets deep behind enemy lines, according to Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to Brovdi, over 60 important enemy targets were hit in a single night. The targets included air defense systems, fuel and energy infrastructure, logistical transport, and military hardware.
"Moscow will fall in Crimea. The Unmanned Systems Forces birds will keep contributing," the commander wrote.
Among the confirmed targets hit were:
-
Three Orion reconnaissance and strike drones in Kerch;
-
Oil storage tanks at the Kerch Thermal Power Plant;
-
A Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system near Baherove;
-
An S-300 launcher and a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun near Kurortne;

The operation involved various units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, including Madyar's Birds, Nemesis, K-2, Rarog, Raid, and other formations.
Temporarily occupied Crimea came under a massive drone attack overnight into June 23. Port Kavkaz and a number of other military and logistical facilities were targeted. Russian authorities temporarily suspended traffic on the Crimean Bridge.
This was not the first wave of strikes on the peninsula in recent days. Over the weekend, Ukrainian forces actively targeted gas distribution stations, oil terminals, air defense systems, and logistical infrastructure of the Russian army in Crimea.
