Earlier, drones attacked Russia's Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai overnight on August 25.
OSINT sources initially reported explosions near Novoshakhtinsk, followed by a fire near the Afipsky oil refinery.
Meanwhile, during a UN Security Council meeting marking Ukraine's Independence Day the previous day, the US deputy permanent representative to the UN called on Russia and Ukraine to return to the negotiating table.
The diplomat stressed that there is no military solution to the war and urged both sides to stop attacks on civilian targets.
