Ukrainian drones struck 13 substations in occupied Crimea and four Russian shadow fleet vessels in the Black Sea overnight on July 19, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) Commander Robert Brovdi (call sign Madyar) stated.

From July 1 through July 19, the total number of Russian shadow fleet vessels and energy facilities hit during the USF operations MoLoChKa and Crimean Switch Off reached 176 vessels and 96 energy facilities.

Overnight on July 19, USF drones successfully struck 59 enemy targets deep behind Russian lines.

During the night’s operations in the Black Sea, USF “Birds” targeted two tankers, a dry cargo vessel, and a floating crane.

The Crimean Switch Off operation was even more extensive, with 13 energy facilities and substations struck. Eight were located in Crimea and five in the southern and eastern temporarily occupied territories:

  • 110 kV Soliana electrical substation in Kerch;
  • 220 kV Azovska electrical substation in Staryi Krym;
  • 110 kV Zoria electrical substation in Ponizivka, Crimea;
  • 110 kV Darsan electrical substation in Yalta, Crimea;
  • 110 kV Kapsel electrical substation in Sudak, Crimea;
  • 110 kV Koktebel electrical substation in Shchebetovka, Crimea;
  • 110 kV Lenino electrical substation in Yedy-Kuiu, Crimea;
  • 220 kV Nansosna-3 electrical substation in Zelenyi Yar, Crimea;
  • 150 kV Berdianska electrical substation in Berdiansk, Crimea;
  • an electrical substation in Shyroke, Kherson region;
  • an electrical substation in Bila Hora, Luhansk region;
  • an electrical substation in Zemlianky, Donetsk region;
  • an electrical substation in Bezhynove, Luhansk region.

USF operations

Earlier, Ukrainian drones again targeted Russia’s shadow fleet in the Black and Azov seas overnight on July 18. Another 13 vessels were hit.

On July 17, Ukrainian naval drones destroyed another 12 Russian shadow fleet vessels in the Black Sea. Over the 12 days of the MoLoChKa operation, the number of vessels struck increased significantly.

On the night of July 16, operators of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces also targeted another 11 Russian shadow fleet vessels.
