Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine have struck 83 Russian energy facilities deep behind enemy lines since the beginning of July, according to Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, commander of Ukrainian Armed Forces drone forces.

Operation scope

Commander Brovdi says drone units have systematically struck 83 energy facilities deep behind Russian lines between July 1 and July 18, as part of the Unmanned Systems Forces' open-ended operation targeting Crimea and other Russia-occupied territories.

Twelve of those targets were hit within the past 72 hours alone.

Targets hit over past 72 hours

Facilities struck in occupied Crimea included:

  • 110 kV Koktebel electrical substation in Shchebetovka
  • 110 kV Kerchenska electrical substation in Kerch
  • Kuban–Crimea power transfer station in Hlazivka
  • 220 kV Komysh-Burun electrical substation in Kerch
  • 220 kV Chornomorska electrical substation in Vulkanivka.

In the Donetsk region, Unmanned Systems Forces drone units struck the 220 kV Azovska electrical substation in Mariupol and another electrical substation in Yasynivka.

In the Luhansk region, electrical substations were targeted in Kadiivka, Solidarne, Hrechyshkyne, and Komisarivka. Another electrical substation was struck in Havrylivka Druha, Kherson region.

Earlier, on the night of July 13, Robert Brovdi announced that Ukrainian forces had struck 15 Russian vessels and nine energy facilities. At the time, the commander also teased further results from MoLoCHKa and Operation Crimean Switch Off campaigns.

On July 17, reports emerged that the Defense Forces of Ukraine had struck the Svetlyak patrol ship in Kerch, the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl, and Russian shadow fleet tankers operating in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
