Ukrainian defenders eliminate Russian invaders in severe frontline area

Special Operations Forces fighters cleared part of the settlement from Russian invaders. This happened on one of the hottest front lines, according to the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In one of the most severe areas, operators of the 3rd Special Forces Operations Regiment cleared part of the settlement from the Russian occupiers," the report says.
Thus, during the operation, the group entered the village and checked all the buildings and shelters. During the clearing, the SOF operators destroyed several Russian occupiers of the Russian army and seized communication equipment.
"This allowed the Ukrainian Defense Forces units and tactical groups of the 3rd SOF Regiment to advance further, performing the following tasks," SOF added.
Situation at front
Over the course of 24 hours on April 8, 161 combat clashes took place on the front. In particular, in the Pokrovsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped 58 Russian assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kalynove, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Shevchenko, Zvirove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka, and Andriivka.
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces' aviation, missile forces, and artillery have hit 10 areas where Russian invaders' personnel and equipment are concentrated. But the Russian occupiers are having little success on several sections of the front.
