Ukrainian defenders destroy vehicle carrying Russian troops in Donetsk region

FPV drone operators of the 79th Air Assault Brigade Tavria destroyed a vehicle carrying Russian troops in the center of Myrnohrad, Donetsk region.
The brigade reports that five Russian troops attempted to take advantage of unfavorable weather conditions and drive into the city center at high speed.
Despite the bad weather, Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance detected Russia's movements and transmitted the coordinates to the operators of the 79th Air Assault Brigade's strike FPV drones, part of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces.
As a result of the operation, according to the Ukrainian military, a Russian military officer was eliminated, four others were wounded, and the vehicle was destroyed.

Situation in Myrnohrad
Soldiers of the 79th Air Assault Brigade continue to conduct search and strike operations in Myrnohrad and the surrounding area, where the operational situation remains difficult.
Russian troops continue to attempt to build up their forces in the central part of the city, where small arms fighting continues.
"In addition to small infantry groups, Russians are sometimes trying to use light vehicles to quickly break through into the town," the Ukrainian military says.
Situation on the front
The operational situation in Myrnohrad has remained difficult for a long time. Airborne assault troops and marines are involved in the defense of the city.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces explained that the Russians had increased pressure on Myrnohrad because they were unable to take control of Pokrovsk. But Ukrainian soldiers have strengthened their defenses.
In recent days, paratroopers have reported that Russian troops are stepping up their assault operations in the Pokrovsk direction and increasing pressure on Myrnohrad.
Active combat operations are continuing in a number of settlements, and the enemy is increasing its use of aviation and drones.
