Ukrainian defenders from the Pomsta (Revenge in Ukrainian - ed.) brigade conducted a successful operation in the Kupiansk sector, inflicting devastating losses on the Russian occupiers, and demonstrated the results in a video.

Thanks to the work of the Phoenix reconnaissance and strike drone, a significant amount of Russian equipment and infrastructure was destroyed.

Among Russia's losses:

  • 2 tanks
  • infantry fighting vehicle BMP-2
  • 3 MT-LB multi-purpose transporters (one of which was eliminated by remote detonation)
  • armored personnel carrier
  • Russian communication system.

In addition, according to Ukrainian border guards, the Phoenix effectively burned down a Russian ammunition depot.

3 Russian drone control centers were also destroyed, and dozens of shelters and a significant amount of Russian manpower were destroyed.

Russia's losses in war against Ukraine

Despite constant Russian attacks, the Ukrainian military continues to bravely defend the country.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia lost 1,530 soldiers, 27 armored combat vehicles, and 5 tanks over the past day.

Recently, Russian troops have suffered significant losses since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022. In particular, November 2024 was a record-breaking month for the number of losses among the Russian occupiers.

According to UK intelligence, last month the Russian occupation army lost a large number of its soldiers and military equipment.

In total, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, according to Ukraine's General Staff, Russian losses have exceeded 765,000 invaders.
