Russia's losses in Ukraine as of December 17: +1,600 troops and 4 tanks

Over the past 24 hours, from December 16 to 17, the losses of Russian troops amounted to about 1,600 occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine, Russia has lost more than 765,000 military personnel, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to December 17, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 765,110 (+1,600)) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9,567 (+4) units;
- armored personnel vehicle - 19,751 (+15);
- artillery systems - 21,159 (+8);
- MLRS - 1,256 ;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,025;
- airplanes - 369;
- helicopters - 329;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 20,406 (+34) units;
- cruise missiles -2,943;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and tankers - 33,550 (+70);
- special equipment - 3,650.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that 226 combat clashes took place on the frontline as of the evening of December 16. In particular, the number of battles in the Kursk region increased sharply compared to the previous day - more than 70 versus 26, which was recorded on the evening of Sunday, December 15.
