Ukrainian border guards launch drone attack on Russian positions in south
In the south, Ukrainian border guards successfully attacked Russian positions with drones. As a result, two enemy shelters and more were destroyed, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
"The border post delivers explosive surprises to the occupiers on the second line," the State Border Guard Service writes.
The strikes destroyed:
- two enemy hideouts
- a Russian vehicle;
- an ammunition depot.
Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, January 2, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 680 occupants. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 361,500 troops.
In the Tavria direction, Ukrainian troops eliminated 386 Russian terrorists and destroyed 40 pieces of enemy equipment over the last day, including:
- 3 armored personnel carriers;
- 6 artillery systems
- 2 anti-tank missile system;
- 1 machine gun anti-tank grenade launcher;
