Ukrainian basketball star Pustovyi delivers standout performance in Spanish league

Ukrainian center Artem Pustovyi delivered an impressive performance for MoraBanc Andorra in another Spanish league game.
Pustovyi comes one rebound short of a double-double
Pustovyi, who plays for MoraBanc Andorra, spent 23 minutes on the court against Unicaja. He scored 19 points, making 8 of 9 two-point attempts and 3 of 6 free throws, and grabbed nine rebounds.
The Ukrainian finished just one rebound short of a double-double, a statistical achievement in which a player records at least 10 in two categories. He also had one turnover and two personal fouls. Only American James Akinjo scored more for Andorra, finishing with 20 points.
Despite Pustovyi's strong individual performance, Andorra could not turn the game around. Unicaja took the lead in each of the first three quarters and went on to win 92-84 (24-20, 23-19, 25-24, 20-21).
How other Ukrainians performed in Spain
Another Ukrainian center, Dmytro Skapintsev, played for Leyma Coruña against Zaragoza. His team lost 92-71. Skapintsev spent 14 minutes on the court, scoring four points on 2-of-6 shooting from two-point range. He also recorded five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.
Meanwhile, Oviedo claimed its first win of the season in Spain's second division, beating Fibwi Palma 99-86 at home. Ukrainian player Daniil Shelist started the game and played 25 minutes. He failed to score, missing both of his two two-point attempts and two three-point attempts. He also recorded three rebounds and one assist.
