Ukraine is allowed to use Western weapons against Russia
The United States and a number of NATO countries have recently authorized Ukraine to use the transferred Western weapons to strike military targets in Russia. However, the US authorization included certain restrictions - strikes can only be carried out in border areas.
The US also did not authorize strikes with US ATACMS missiles. In addition, US President Joe Biden stated that he would not allow Ukraine to use American weapons against Moscow or the Kremlin.
At the same time, NATO's top military officer, Rob Bauer, emphasized that Ukraine should not have any restrictions on the use of Western weapons in the war with Russia.
