Ukrainian defenders continue to pressure the enemy in the eastern part of the country.

The Shkval Battalion of the Skelia Regiment carried out a successful offensive operation along the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.

As a result of the fighting, the village of Filiia, which had been under the control of Russian forces, was liberated. The Ukrainian flag was raised over the settlement again, symbolizing the community’s return under Ukraine’s protection.

The military noted that the operation was difficult, as the enemy tried to fortify the village and set up multiple firing positions. Despite this, the defense forces acted in a coordinated manner and forced the Russian units to retreat.

Currently, stabilization measures are underway in Filiia, including checking the area for explosive devices. Residents who endured the occupation are being provided with necessary assistance.
