Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to advance in the Zaporizhzhia region as part of their counteroffensive campaign. They have achieved success in the Avdiivka direction and are repelling attempts by Russian occupiers in the Svatove area to capture a hill near Novoehorivka, according to data from the interactive DeepStateMap.
The situation on the Svatove section of the front
Near the settlement of Novoehorivka, the main battle for the height of 190.8 is ongoing. According to experts from the resource, Ukrainian forces have already worn down the main enemy forces in this area, while Russian occupiers are preparing to send their reserves here.

The situation on other fronts
In the Berdyansk and Tavriisk directions, as of late evening on September 8, no changes were reported.

Advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
