Over the past day, January 29, Ukrainian troops in the Tavria direction eliminated 371 Russian occupiers and destroyed 40 units of enemy equipment, according to the joint press center of the Tavria Defense Forces.
During the day, the enemy carried out:
- 37 air strikes;
- 2 missile attacks;
- 1073 artillery rounds;
- conducted 36 combat engagements;
Avdiivka direction
The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 16 occupants' attacks near Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka and another 8 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
Maryinka direction
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Heorhiivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where Russian 8 attacks were repelled.
Shakhtarsk direction
Ukrainian troops repelled 2 enemy attacks near Zolota Nyva, Donetsk region.
Zaporizhzhia direction
The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 2 enemy attacks west of Verbove and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Achievements of Ukrainian soldiers
Enemy losses in manpower amounted to 371 Russians. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 40 pieces of enemy equipment, including:
- 5 tanks;
- 13 armored personnel carriers;
- 10 artillery systems;
- 1 easel-mounted anti-tank grenade launcher;
- 2 air defense systems;
- 8 vehicles;
- 1 unit of special equipment.
"235 UAVs of various types were neutralized or destroyed," the press service adds.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, January 27, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 960 occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 384,140 troops.
