Over the past day, January 29, the Ukrainian military eliminated another 960 Russian war criminals. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost about 384,140 personnel, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 22 to January 30, 24 are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 384,140 (+960) Russians were killed;
  • tanks - 6300 (+10) units;
  • armored personnel carriers - 11725 (+29) units;
  • artillery systems - 9144 (+31) units;
  • MLRS - 972 (+0) units;
  • air defense systems - 663 (+3) units;
  • aircraft - 332 (+1) units;
  • helicopters - 324 (+0) units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 7084 (+35) units;
  • cruise missiles - 1846 (+0) units;
  • ships/boats - 23 (+0) units;
  • submarines - 1 (+0) units;
  • motor vehicles and tank trucks - 12191 (+42) units;
  • special equipment - 1448 (+5) units.

Frontline situation

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 70 combat engagements took place in the frontline over the last day. In the Avdiivka direction alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 16 Russian attacks near Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka and another 8 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

As previously reported by analysts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the most intense fighting in the Kupiansk direction is taking place in the areas of Synkivka and Tabaivka. In particular, they claimed that the enemy had advanced in the area of Kreminna in the direction of Lyman and west of Bakhmut.
