As a result of the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the temporarily occupied Crimea, on January 4, the Russian invaders' ammunition depots were destroyed and the positions of radar stations were damaged, reports the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

The military intelligence informed that on Thursday, January 4, a complex special operation was carried out in the territory of Russian-occupied Ukrainian Crimea.

It was conducted by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine together with the state defense forces.

The targets of the attack were Russian radar positions at the airfield in Saki, as well as an ammunition depot near the village of Hryshyne.

"The occupiers in Crimea have lost ammunition depots and several radars... Space reconnaissance data confirms the successful fire damage of the Russian invaders' ammunition depot in Hryshyno," the statement said.

The military intelligence added that information on other enemy losses in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is being clarified.

Explosions in Crimea

On January 4, powerful explosions were heard in occupied Sevastopol and Yevpatoria. Before that, the Russian invaders blocked the traffic on the Crimean bridge.

Later, the Strategic Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that a Russian occupation troops' assembly point was hit near occupied Sevastopol. The commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, said that the operation was carried out with the help of Ukrainian pilots.

It was also reported that a military unit in Yevpatoriya was hit, and 23 occupants and a Russian colonel were allegedly killed in the attack.

In the evening and at night on January 6, powerful explosions were heard near Yevpatoria in western Crimea. Eyewitnesses reported an attack on the Saki airfield. This morning, Air Force commander Mykola Oleshchuk said that the Air Force hit the Saki airfield, where another enemy control point was located.
