Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy over 150 Russian drones and 49 equipment units on Tavria front

Over the past day, Ukrainian troops eliminated over 300 more Russian occupants in the Tavria direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 49 units of Russian military equipment and 156 enemy drones of various types, according to the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces.
In total, the enemy carried out 53 air strikes, fought 35 combat engagements, and fired 933 artillery rounds in the operational area of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Troops.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invaders.
Thus, over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 16 enemy attacks near Avdiivka and another 6 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back the enemy near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 11 attacks were repelled.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack south of Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled an attack by the occupiers near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.
Russian losses
The total losses of the Russian army in manpower amounted to 362 occupiers.
Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 68 units of enemy military equipment, including:
- 4 tanks;
- 7 armored personnel carriers;
- 14 artillery systems
- 2 MLRS;
- 19 vehicles;
- 3 units of special equipment.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces also destroyed 3 Russian ammunition depots.
In addition, 156 Russian UAVs of various types were neutralized or destroyed.
Frontline situation
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian troops repelled 9 enemy attacks in the Lyman direction, held their positions, and repelled the occupation forces' assaults in the Kherson direction. Missile troops hit 5 artillery pieces.
According to the report of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian troops advanced to the section of the P07 Kupiansk-Svatove highway east of Tabaivka. Advances were also recorded on the northern outskirts of Avdiivka. Positional fighting continued on the left bank of the Kherson region, including in the area of Krynky.
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Friday morning, February 2, amounted to 830 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 387,060. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine sank a boat, and destroyed 46 artillery systems and 49 vehicles.
