During the past day, on January 28, the Ukrainian military eliminated 567 Russian terrorists and destroyed 37 enemy vehicles, according to the Facebook page of the Unified Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction.
During the day, the enemy:
- launched 3 missile strikes;
- engaged in 49 combat clashes;
- conducted 835 artillery shelling.
Avdiivka direction
Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 21 enemy attacks near Ocheretyno, Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, and another 5 attacks near Pervomaiske, Nevelske, the Donetsk region.
Maryinka direction
Defense forces continue to hold back the enemy near Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, repelling 22 attacks.
Shakhtarsk direction
The enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
Zaporizhzhia direction
Military forces repelled an attack by occupiers north of Pryiutne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Achievements of Ukrainian soldiers
Enemy losses amounted to 567 persons. Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 37 units of enemy equipment, including:
- 4 tanks;
- 12 armored combat vehicles;
- 19 automobiles;
- 2 units of special equipment.
"Also, Ukrainian defense forces destroyed 1 enemy ammunition depot. 207 UAVs of various types were neutralized or destroyed," the press service reports.
Losses of Russia in the war
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, during the past day on January 27, Ukrainian warriors eliminated another 1070 occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 383,180 military personnel.
