During the past day, on January 28, the Ukrainian military eliminated another 1,070 Russian terrorists. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost approximately 383,180 personnel, according to the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The overall combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to January 29, 2024, are estimated as follows:

  • personnel: approximately 383,180 (+1,070) individuals were eliminated;
  • tanks: 6,290 (+10) units;
  • combat armored vehicles: 11,696 (+25) units;
  • artillery systems: 9,113 (+16) units;
  • MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket Systems): 972 (+0) units;
  • anti-aircraft missile systems: 660 (+0) units;
  • aircraft: 331 (+0) units;
  • helicopters: 324 (+0) units;
  • UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) of operational-tactical level: 7,049 (+8) units;
  • cruise missiles: 1,846 (+1) units;
  • ships/boats: 23 (+0) units;
  • submarines: 1 (+0) unit;
  • automotive vehicles and tankers: 12,149 (+46) units;
  • specialized equipment: 1,443 (+7) units.

Frontline situation

The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 1,070 occupiers and repelled 26 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka direction. In particular, the Defense Forces continued operations to expand the foothold in the Kherson direction.

According to analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian terrorists likely occupied Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region and advanced into the field east of Yampolivka (west of Kreminna). Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces displaced Russian troops from the Tsarske Poliuvannia (Royal Hunting) restaurant in Avdiivka.
