Ukrainian Andrii Lunin resumes full team training with Real Madrid

Ukraine national team goalkeeper Andrii Lunin has returned to training with the Real Madrid main squad. The Ukrainian is preparing for the team's first match after the international break, reports the club's official website.
Lunin missed Ukraine's matches
At the beginning of September, Lunin left the national team due to back problems.
Due to this fact, he was unable to play in the World Cup qualifying matches against France (0:2) and Azerbaijan (1:1). He was replaced in the squad by Heorhii Bushchan, and Anatolii Trubin played in goal for both matches.
Overall, Ukraine lost seven players to injuries during the international window. In addition to Lunin, Vitalii Mykolenko, Viktor Tsyhankov, and Roman Yaremchuk were also unavailable.
Lunin last appeared for the national team in June at the Canadian Shield tournament against New Zealand (2:1).
Competition in Real's goal
This season, Andrii Lunin has not yet played a single La Liga match.
After Xabi Alonso was appointed head coach, the Ukrainian appeared only in a friendly against the Austrian side Tirol.
In the Spanish league, Thibaut Courtois remains the regular starting goalkeeper.
Return after break
In the next match, Real Madrid will face Real Sociedad in La Liga. The game will take place on Saturday, September 13, at 5:15 PM Kyiv time.
In addition to Lunin, Ferland Mendy, Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, and Endrik have also returned to team training as they regain fitness after injuries.
