Ukrainian and Slovak Prime Ministers to meet in Slovakia

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will hold joint talks in Košice today, Teraz.SK reports.
"Joint talks between the governments of Slovakia and Ukraine are yielding good results," said Prime Minister Robert Fico, who also praised the constructive dialogue with former Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to the agency, a series of bilateral consultations is planned in Košice, including between foreign ministers, as well as a ministerial meeting on cross-border cooperation and transport links, and cooperation in the energy sector.
The consultations will also address issues related to the defense industry, Ukraine's recovery, EU integration, agriculture, and education.
The delegations will meet in Košice, Slovakia's second-largest city, located in the east of the country. The city has a population of about 225,000.
Zelenskyy and Fico meeting
In early September, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Slovak Prime Minister in Uzhhorod.
Following the meeting with the Slovak Prime Minister, Zelenskyy noted that a number of important and key issues had been discussed, including the prospects for Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
During the meeting, the Slovak Prime Minister also explained that his rhetoric and actions are not directed against Ukraine, as he is defending the interests of his country. As for the fact that the prime minister and the Ukrainian leader have different points of view on various issues.
