Today, on February 25, the "Ukraine. Year 2024" conference began with the participation of the country's military and political leaders. The meeting will focus on various aspects of Ukraine's future, according to the event's broadcast.
Stefanchuk on cooperation with the US Congress
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk was intrigued by a statement about cooperation with the US Congress.
"In the near future, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, you will receive a new example of speaker-level cooperation on promoting Ukraine's issues in the US Congress," he said.
Half of the weapons do not arrive in Ukraine on time
Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov commented on the situation with the delay in military aid to Ukraine. According to him, half of the weapons do not arrive on time.
"As the situation is always dynamic, always changing, then 50% is not delivered on time. What is allocated, if it does not arrive on time, then we lose people and territories. This is a war where allies should ensure timely supply because there has never been a war in history fought without air superiority. We are working according to plan and doing everything possible and impossible, but without timely deliveries, it complicates our work," he said.
No illegal weapons have crossed from Ukraine to the EU
"I can say that not a single unit of weaponry (we're talking about illegal ones) has crossed the border between Ukraine and the EU in the two years," said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.

Unmanned Systems Forces
Vadym Sukharevskyi, Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated that the newly formed Unmanned Systems Forces will become a powerful force on the battlefield.
"This will be a powerful force that will solve real tasks on the battlefield, which will be a reliable support for our combat brigades, this will be the element that will provide an opportunity to asymmetrically respond to the enemy's actions and inflict maximum losses on them," he said at the forum.

Minister of Strategic Industries announced the year of ground drones
Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, said that this year, Ukrainians will hear more about ground robotic systems on the battlefield.
"Last year, we saw drones in the air on a massive scale; we saw them at sea. This year will be the year when we will see them on the ground. This year, we will hear more about ground robotic systems," said the Minister of Strategic Industries at the "Ukraine. Year 2024" forum.
Umerov talked about the plan for 2024
Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, speaking at the forum, said that Ukraine already has a plan of action for 2024, but it is not public.
"Everyone says that our actions speak louder than words. We are doing everything possible and impossible to make a breakthrough. The plan for 2024 is already in place. We do not publicly discuss it. It is powerful, it is strong, it not only provides hope but will also yield results in 2024," said the Minister at the "Ukraine. Year 2024" forum.

What to expect at the forum
The conference, as expected, will be attended by leading government speakers. In particular, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, and representatives of the Ministry of Strategic Industries, the Security Service of Ukraine, the General Staff, and other military and political leadership representatives.
Also, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the First Lady will participate in the conference.
"It will be an honest conversation about our path forward, our path in 2024," said the president's spokesman, Serhii Nikiforov.
Among the topics for discussion will be Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO, the development of the army, the restoration of the physical and mental health of citizens, support for businesses, and more.
After the conference, Zelenskyy will hold a press conference to sum up and answer journalists' questions.
On December 19, a press conference was held with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The head of state's meeting with the media was dedicated to the year's results and lasted two hours. More than 200 media representatives were invited to the event.
