The Ukrainian team won its second gold medal at the 2024 Paralympic Games. Additionally, the Ukrainian athletes secured another silver, according to the International Paralympic Committee.

Today, 43-year-old Oksana Zubkovska won the championship in the T12 long jump event, marking her fifth consecutive Paralympic title.

Zubkovska secured the gold medal on her fifth attempt with a jump of 5.78 meters, setting a new personal season record.

The silver medal in the T12 long jump event went to Spain's Sara Martínez, while Algeria's Lynda Hamri got the bronze.

Additionally, today Ukraine won its tenth silver medal at the 2024 Paralympics and its first medal in rowing.

Roman Polianskyi secured silver in the PR1 single sculls event, marking his third career medal in rowing at the Paralympics.

Ukraine at the 2024 Paralympics

Ukraine is represented by 140 athletes at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

The Ukrainian team has already won 21 medals—two gold, ten silver, and nine bronze—placing Ukraine 15th in the medal standings.

On the second day of the Paralympics, Ukraine won its first gold medal. Oleksandr Komarov triumphed in the men’s 100-meter freestyle event (S5 class).
