Ukraine will provide Vatican with list of journalists in Russian captivity - Zelenskyy
Ukraine will provide the Vatican with a list of journalists held in Russian captivity, as the country needs assistance in returning the prisoners, according to the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to the president, it is very difficult to work on the return of prisoners.
"That’s why we need special assistance, particularly from the efforts of the Vatican. We agreed that Ukraine would provide a list of journalists currently held in Russian captivity, and we discussed in detail the return of civilians and deported children. We hope for support," Zelenskyy said.
He also reminded that this month, a meeting on the humanitarian aspect of the peace formula will take place in Canada. The president invited the Vatican to participate.
