Ukraine used air defense missiles worth about 80 million euros during today's combined Russian attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in response to journalists' questions.
Zelenskyy, responding to a journalist's question about air defense supplies from partners and US President Donald Trump's reaction to the overnight attack, said it is difficult to predict the White House's response.
"It is hard for me to say about the reaction right now. We know the general reaction that America and President Trump want to end this war. As for the latest attack, we have not yet spoken with him," the Ukrainian president said.
According to him, Ukraine has recently received several important aid packages from partners, including missiles for air defense systems.
"For example, today's Russian attack cost us — just the cost of the missiles — about 80 million euros. Imagine that this is the cost of these missiles. And every day we do everything, and I do everything, to ensure we receive appropriate missiles and proper protection for people," Zelenskyy added.
He also noted that during the war, Ukraine primarily loses people, but it is also very difficult to find these missiles and very difficult to find money for them.
"This is a very expensive Russian luxury — war. And for us, it means heavy losses," the head of state added.
