Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that due to the changing nature of the war and the active use of strike drones, the evacuation of wounded soldiers from the battlefield has become more difficult, according to Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

This issue became one of the key topics at the monthly meeting on military medicine and medical support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The event was attended by the commander of the Medical Forces, heads of medical services of military formations and army corps, who reported on the status of units and the staffing of new formations.

Among the possible solutions mentioned were the use of new technical approaches, in particular, unmanned systems and ground robotic complexes (GRC).

As an example, representatives of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade shared their positive experience of using GRC to evacuate the wounded from the front line.

Following the meeting, Syrskyi set tasks to scale up such solutions, strengthen the provision of armored and evacuation equipment to medical units, and introduce new logistical and organizational approaches.

"The main goal is to preserve the lives and health of Ukraine's defenders who are holding the front line," the Commander-in-Chief emphasizes.

The pre-planned operation had a dual purpose: to deliver fuel, water, and provisions to an infantry position near the evacuation point, and to transport a wounded soldier.
