Ukraine to make more drones this year than expected, says Zelenskyy

Ukraine will exceed its drone production plan this year. Manufacturers will exceed the figures expected at the beginning of the year, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The head of state heard a report from Armed Forces chief Oleksandr Syrskyi on the frontline, as well as on the needs of the troops, the specific types of weapons that require increased supplies. Zelenskyy said that he would discuss this with the partners next week.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council was given a separate task to attract external funding for the production of drones.
"This year’s drone production will significantly exceed the figures that were projected at the beginning of the year," Zelenskyy wrote.

According to Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, Ukrainian weapons production has increased 35 times since the start of the full-scale war. Ukraine plans to increase this figure.
