Ukraine to expand network of military lyceums – Ukrainian defense minister

Ukraine is working on expanding the network of military lyceums, as such education is the foundation of the modern Ukrainian army, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.

The ministry reported that on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal visited the Ivan Bohun Military High School and congratulated the cadets and teachers on September 1.

As part of the event, he reminded that military education is the foundation of the modern Ukrainian army, since knowledge makes it possible to:

Demonstrate ingenuity;

Show resilience and resourcefulness during military operations.

"We are doing everything to ensure that the network of military lyceums in Ukraine expands," Shmyhal emphasized.
He clarified that the Ministry of Defense is working so that "there is at least one such lyceum in every region."

"There is a huge demand among young people for quality military education, and we will create all the conditions for its development," the Minister of Defense added.
In conclusion, he wished the cadets new achievements and discoveries, so that all bold ideas and plans would be realized for the benefit of our state.
