Brave1 defense cluster completed the final testing phase of strike kamikaze drones that have a declared engagement range of over 40 kilometres and are capable of overcoming electronic warfare, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reports.

According to Fedorov, after the tests are completed, these drones will soon be deployed on the battlefield.

“Strike kamikaze drones with a 40+ km range, capable of overcoming electronic warfare, are a new level of the ability to hit the enemy far beyond the frontline,” the Minister of Digital Transformation said.

Thanks to Brave1’s support and feedback from the military, manufacturers were able to refine the technologies to maximum effectiveness.

“Strike drones are becoming a cheap and practical solution for the front - cost-effective to produce and easy to scale. They help achieve precision strikes at distances of 40, 50, and even more kilometres, leaving the enemy no chance,” Fedorov emphasised.

The Minister added that combat trials lie ahead, and preparations are being accelerated for the mass deployment of strike kamikaze drones on the front line.

Earlier, Fedorov spoke about the Ukrainian drone Katran used by the Armed Forces; operations involving it are classified.

As previously reported, Ukrainian engineers are developing new strike drones that will hunt Shahed UAVs. The unmanned systems operate like air-defense missiles - detonating near enemy targets and damaging them with fragments.

Also, Ukraine has created a unique AI drone that helps engage targets at distances of over 50 kilometres. The new development is called the Dophin's spider.
