Ukraine takes control of a Gazprom gas station near Sudzha

Fighting has been ongoing for the third day in the Kursk region. The Russians claim that Ukrainian forces have occupied several border villages and part of the city of Sudzha, informs The Washington Post.

The media clarified that Ukraine now controls a gas measuring station about five miles (about 8 km) inside Russia.

Ukrainian military forces destroy Russian Buk-M3 air defense system

On the night of August 8, Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian Buk-M3 missile system in the Orikhiv sector, near the village of Zaporizhzhia in the occupied territory.

'This is a modernized air defense system adopted by Russia in 2016. Also, an Osa surface-to-air missile system was destroyed near Velyki Kopani in the Kherson region,' said a spokesman for the Tavria military unit Dmytro Lykhoviy.

Trump and Harris agree to meet for debates, date is set

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris will meet for debates on September, 10 on ABC News.

"ABC News will host qualifying presidential candidates to debate on September 10 on ABC. Vice President Harris and former President Trump have both confirmed they will attend the ABC debate," the media confirmed.
