Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck three Russian air defense assets and a military logistics depot within 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
On October 27 and overnight into October 28, Ukrainian forces carried out successful strikes on enemy targets both inside Russia and in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory.
According to the General Staff, the following targets were hit:
-
A Russian Tor-M2 air defense missile system near Rzhava in Russia’s Kursk region;
-
A radar station near Malyi Horodkove in the Kursk region;
-
An electronic warfare (EW) station near Semyachky in Russia’s Bryansk region;
-
A military logistics depot near Valerianivka in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region.
The General Staff noted that each destroyed air defense system, radar, or electronic warfare station creates a temporary “blind spot” in the enemy’s air defense network.
The military emphasized that the more gaps Russia has in its defenses, the greater the opportunities for Ukraine’s Defense Forces to effectively deploy unmanned systems across all levels of the front.
“Operations against the enemy’s key military targets will continue until Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine ends completely,” the General Staff said.
Recently, Ukraine’s Defense Forces also struck a radar station, military depots, and Russian personnel.
Earlier, Ukrainian forces hit a 55Zh6U Nebo-U radar station, valued at $100 million, near the settlement of Magri in Russia’s Krasnodar region.
