Ukraine strikes Russian oil refinery in Krasnodar and multiple key targets

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have successfully struck an oil refinery in the Krasnodar region of Russia, as well as other verified targets involved in the armed aggression against Ukraine, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff confirmed the destruction of the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region. Its annual processing capacity is 6.25 million tons per year, which is 2.1% of the total oil refining capacity of Russia. As a result of the drone strike, a fire engulfed the gas and gas condensate processing plant.
The combat mission was carried out by units of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine and the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian Defense Forces units also attacked a number of other important targets, and the results of the combat operations are being clarified.
"Strikes on the enemy's military infrastructure will continue until Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine is completely stopped. Ukrainian Defense Forces are systematically using all means provided by law to stop the criminal actions of the Kremlin regime aimed at destroying the Ukrainian people," Ukraine's General Staff adds.
Russian drone attacks on Russia on August 7
On Thursday morning, August 7, Russians complained of explosions and fires in the Krasnodar region of Russia. They claim that unknown drones attacked an oil refinery and a military unit.
That night, the Volgograd region of Russia came under drone attack. It was very loud in the city of Surovikino, with about 10 explosions, followed by a fire at the local railway station.
The region's governor, Andrey Bocharov, confirmed the drone attack, reporting that the drones had attacked two railway stations.
"A fire broke out in the administrative building at the Surovikino railway station, which is being quickly extinguished by the fire department. At the Maksim Gorky railway station, sappers are currently working with the debris of the destroyed UAV—there is no damage to the facilities," Bocharov said.
