Overnight, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a series of strikes against targets in Volgograd, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and other regions. In particular, a key component of Russia’s oil transportation infrastructure was struck, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Strike on Kotovo oil depot

On the night of June 13, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck an oil processing and pumping facility near the town of Kotovo in the Volgograd region. A fire was reported on the facility’s grounds.

This facility performs an important function for the Russians:

  • Prepares and pumps oil through the main pipelines
  • Supplies raw materials to oil refineries
  • Supports export infrastructure.

In particular, oil is collected here from the Korobkovskoye field in the Volgograd region, as well as from neighboring fields in the Astrakhan region and the Republic of Kalmykia.

Command posts and troop concentrations

In addition to the oil depot, the Ukrainian military struck Russian command posts in the areas of Soledar, Donetsk region, and Verkhnia Krynytsia, Zaporizhzhia region.

Russian drone command posts were also targeted in:

  • Khoromnoe, Bryansk region, Russia
  • Verkhnia Krynytsia, Zaporizhzhia region, temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine
  • Voskresenka, Donetsk region, temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine
  • Novomykolaivka, Kherson region, temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck areas where Russian personnel were concentrated near Soledar, Uspenivka, Holubivka, Pryvilne in Ukraine, as well as Kolotilovka, Novye Yurkovichi, and Chernozemny Gorodok in the Bryansk and Belgorod regions.

Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked three Russian units that were conducting training exercises at a training ground in the Zaporizhzhia region and destroyed several pieces of Russian air defense equipment.

Russian occupying authorities in the Kherson region complained about new drone attacks on bridges leading to Crimea, which partially blocked traffic toward Dzhankoy and across the Arabat Spit.
