On the night of August 3, Ukraine carried out precision strikes against key military targets of the Russians in Crimea, the Bryansk and Belgorod regions, according to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The nighttime operation was aimed at reducing the military and economic capabilities of the Russian forces. The Ukrainian military successfully attacked many strategically important Russian targets:

  • Training and launch base for strike drones near Navlya (Bryansk region, Russia), where drones were also stored
  • Repair and maintenance base and an artillery brigade depot near Nove Zhyttia in occupied Crimea. Russia used this facility to store weapons, spare parts, and Logistical supplies, as well as to repair and refurbish artillery weapons and military equipment
  • Russian logistics depots in the Okunivka and Naumivka areas (Crimea)
  • Fuel and lubricants depot in the Oktyabrsky district of the Belgorod region of Russia
  • Russian communications hub in the Artemivka area (Crimea).

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of Russia," the statement reads.

Over the past two weeks, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been attacking warehouses belonging to Wildberries, Russia’s largest online marketplace, almost daily. Data from Data Insight indicates that between 17% and 22% of its entire logistics infrastructure has been damaged.

According to analysts' estimates, the losses amount to 215–280 billion rubles ($2.7–3.6 billion). Restoring these facilities could cost between 62.5 and 80.8 billion rubles ($0.8–1 billion). Sellers working with the marketplace have suffered the greatest losses.
