Ukraine has significantly strengthened the defense of its northern border with Russia. Systems of engineering barriers, as well as anti-tank and anti-personnel minefields, have been created there, said the spokesperson of the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Northern Direction, Yurii Povkh.
According to him, the situation on the northern border is completely different from what it was in 2022.
"The troops control the state border, the determined forces and means protect and stand in the most threatening directions. The lessons of history and the Ukrainian-Russian war have been taken into account, the enemy has prepared surprises," Povkh says.
