Ukraine has prepared a document for Europe regarding peace negotiations. It specified a clear condition for discussing the issue of territories, Reuters reports.

An unnamed source revealed that on April 22, Ukraine handed over a document to Europe stating that no territorial discussions will take place until a full and unconditional ceasefire is achieved.

The source also clarified that it was after this that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio canceled his trip to London for talks with Ukraine, France, and the UK.

The journalist’s source believes that the apparent nervousness from the US may indicate that Ukraine’s position does not align with agreements between Washington and Russia.

Rubio cancels London trip

It was previously scheduled that on April 23, a meeting would take place in London with officials from Ukraine, the US, France, and the UK. However, it was revealed yesterday that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, would not attend the talks.

CNN, citing sources, reported that Rubio did not go to London because Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy refused Washington’s proposal to recognize Crimea as Russian. This was considered a key detail of the US peace plan.
