Ukrainian athletes won two medals in kayaking and canoeing on the final day of the 2024 Paralympics in Paris. Ukrainian Vladislav Epifanov claimed the title of champion, according to the competition results.

Vladislav Epifanov secured a direct spot in the final based on his qualifying heats. This is the athlete's first Paralympics, and it has been a successful one for him.

In the final of the VL3 men's single kayak 200m race, Epifanov clocked a time of 47.49 seconds, setting a new Paralympic record for this distance.

Epifanov won the gold medal, marking the first gold for the Ukrainian team in kayaking and canoeing.

The second medal of the day for Ukraine in rowing came from Maryna Mazhula, who won silver in the KL1 single kayak 200m race.

This is Mazhula's second consecutive silver medal at the Paralympic Games.

Ukraine now has a total of 81 medals at the Paris 2024 Paralympics, with 22 gold, 27 silver, and 32 bronze. Ukraine currently stands in seventh place in the medal tally.
