Ukraine has received the seventh tranche of funding from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility program. The amount of the aid totaled 2.8 billion euros, according to Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

Taking into account the repayment of previously provided advance financing, the state budget actually received €2.6 billion.

In total, Ukraine has already received over €29.4 billion under the Ukraine Facility mechanism.

The funds received will be directed toward financing priority expenditures of the state budget, particularly in the social and humanitarian sectors.

Svyrydenko notes that this is already the seventh tranche under the Ukraine Facility program. To receive it, Ukraine fulfilled 11 indicators of the Ukraine Plan, covering the areas of public administration, economic policy, energy, digitalization, and the rule of law.

In addition, Ukraine has fulfilled some of the conditions required for the next stages of financing ahead of schedule.

"For the first time, we will receive additional compensation for the early fulfillment of reform commitments," the Ukrainian Prime Minister says.

As of the end of May 2026, Ukraine has implemented 86 measures of the Plan, with another 65 at various stages of implementation.

The Ukraine Facility support program was launched in 2024. It provides for up to €50 billion in financing in the form of grants and loans to support Ukraine’s recovery, reconstruction, and modernization for the period from 2024 to 2027.

The program includes a specific list of structural reforms and measures designed to promote Ukraine’s sustainable economic development, green transition, digital transformation, and European integration.

In late May, the Council of the European Union approved the allocation of nearly 2.8 billion euros to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility program.
