Ukraine's victory plan consists of 5 points, includes concrete amounts of military aid
Ukraine's victory plan consists of five points and contains specific numbers and amounts of military assistance. It is a bridge to a diplomatic end to the full-scale war, reports ABC News.
Commenting on the victory plan, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with Good Morning America that the plan is a bridge to a diplomatic end to the war, as only a strong position will make it possible to force President Vladimir Putin to end the conflict.
According to a source close to the president, the plan consists of five points that include:
- specific numbers and amounts of military aid to Ukraine;
- certain diplomatic and political steps.
The plan does not contain any concessions to Russia and is aimed at coercion against the Kremlin.
Zelenskyy also says that the plan is urgent because it aims to end the war quickly and not drag it out for years.
He expects that the upcoming presidential election in the United States will not affect future support for Ukraine, but understands that its policy may change, and it is important to be prepared for this in advance.
Ukraine's victory plan
Zelenskyy will present the plan for Ukraine's victory to US President Joe Biden, and two presidential candidates Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris.
As the president explained earlier, the plan will allow Kyiv to understand whether its allies are ready to support Ukraine in achieving victory.
According to the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, the plan also contains a vision of steps to ensure a just and lasting peace, including an invitation for Ukraine to join NATO.
Meanwhile, the Russian president's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin would study Ukraine's victory plan if it appeared in official sources.
