Ukraine will continue to expand the geography of strikes on Russian military objects. For this purpose, domestically produced weapons will be used, according to Oleksiy Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on Twitter.

"With each new combat task, Ukrainian combat UAVs and naval drones become more precise, operators become more experienced, combat coordination becomes more effective, and manufacturers gain opportunities to improve tactical and technical characteristics," Danilov noted.

He emphasized that August had been particularly successful for "Ukrainian hunters." According to him, the geography of strikes with Ukrainian weaponry will continue to expand.

"Further, there will be an expansion of the scale, range of combat operations, and the level and severity of Russian losses. Russian targets are the best testing ground for Ukrainian weapons and their promotion on a global level," stated the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.

In Danilov's view, the Ukrainian military-industrial complex will become one of the main global players as the technology has undergone unique combat trials.

Drones target Russian ships

Yesterday the SSU conducted a special operation using drones to attack the large landing ship "Olenegorsky Gornyak" in Novorossiysk bay. According to the Ministry of Defense's Main Intelligence Directorate, the Russians will not be able to repair this ship in the near future.

Additionally, today in the Kerch Strait, a ground drone attacked the Russian oil tanker SIG. At the time of the strike, the tanker was loaded with fuel. It is known that the SSU conducted this special operation in collaboration with the Ukrainian Navy.
